The #15 BMW M Hybrid V8 fielded by BMW M Team WRT at the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans combined cutting-edge hybrid technology with BMW’s aggressive endurance-racing pedigree. Driven by former Kevin Magnussen, alongside Raffaele Marciello and Dries Vanthoor, the LMDh prototype stood out with its twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 paired to a sophisticated hybrid system producing around 640 horsepower. Designed with a Dallara chassis, the car featured BMW’s unmistakable illuminated kidney-grille styling cues and advanced aerodynamic efficiency that helped it remain competitive deep into the race. Although technical issues with the hybrid cooling system ended its hopes for a top finish, the #15 machine showed impressive pace and proved BMW’s Hypercar program could challenge the world’s best endurance racers.
This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. Resin models are
exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Each model is created using a variety of production
processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite material referred to in the
industry as “resin”. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used
for the most authentic replication.
